April 6, nearly 200 participants came out to the 11th annual Conscious Eating Conference, where Executive Director Kim Sturla spoke about animal emotions
April 6, all 1000 vegan cupcakes sold out at the 1000 Vegan Cupcake Challenge, a benefit for Animal Place, where Animal Care Director Jamie London taste-tested as a judge!
April 10, dozens of visitors to the Berkeley Saturn Cafe made sure to bring their flyer, ensuring 10% of their food purchases went to Animal Place!
April 13, around 60 people visited the sanctuary for two guided tours!
April 20, worldwide vegan bake sale in Sacramento
April 27, Oakland Veg Week partners with Animal Place to host a bus tour to the sanctuary
May 4, 17 prospective volunteers arrived for our orientation
