Please visit and share our newest website documenting the largest rescue of farmed animals in California history. Animal Place is responsible for coordinating the intake of 4,460 hens over a two-day operation. 4,100 of those hens were cared for at our Rescue Ranch and Grass Valley sanctuaries.
Adoptable Hens!
May 8, 2013-
Life is looking up for nearly 800 hens saved from a battery cage egg farm last week. They are settling in at our Rescue Ranch facility and, after they recover, will be placed for adoption into permanent homes.
