Name: Nico
Age: 8-mos-old
Weight: 25 lbs
Nico is a delightful puppy who needs a home where he can grow into both his mind and body. Nico is shy and unsure of the world. Confident dogs help bring out his own confidence, so he would likely thrive in a home with a outgoing dog (who likes to run and play, because Nico does). He would get along with dogs of all sizes.
Nico is not housetrained and will need gentle guidance on going potty outside. He would love to have some positive training in his life and takes treats very gently.
Nico would like to learn how to high-five because that is his motto in life, “If you are happy and you know it, high five.” He made that up himself, so go with it.
Want to add this delightful pup to your family? Fill out an adoption form and put “Nico” in the name section.
Nico also enjoys sunset portraits as the lighting is really good for him.
He has not been cat-tested but that can be arranged.
Kid testing: Nico was tested with a gentle 4-yr-old. He would do best in a home with older children or no children.
Animal Place’s dog adoption program is a collaboration between Animal Place, Center for Animal Protection & Education, and Compassion without Borders. All rescued dogs have been spayed/neutered, tested negative for heartworm and other blood borne illnesses, de-wormed, and vaccinated. All dogs are housed at Animal Place in Grass Valley, California.
