Each photo is 8x10 printed on acid-free paper. It is matted on 11x17 white archival-quality stock. Photos by Marji Beach, Education Manager. The prints are taped in such a way for easy removal if you wish to re-mat.

Freedom & Summer - $18.00
Freedom and Summer were rescued in 2009 from an auction. The two calves are the by-product of the dairy industry. Male dairy calves are sent to auction, selling for less than $20 and generally raised for veal. Summer & Freedom will live out their lives at the sanctuary.
Lenny & Virginia - $18.00
Virginia was one of eight goats and sheep rescued from a slaughterhouse. She was pregnant at the time and gave birth to a healthy lamb, Lenny.
Nicholas - $18.00
Nicholas was bought at auction for $15 and taken to an apartment complex where he was tied up outside. Animal control swiftly confiscated him and now he lives at Animal Place.
Gilbert - $18.00
Gilbert would have been a BBQ dinner had an animal control officer not stopped by to find the goat tied up in the back of a pick-up truck. Animal Place took Gilbert in, and at 9 years-old, he's a valuable member of the herd.
Finnegan - $18.00
Finnegan spent nearly 2 years in a small rabbit cage at a no-kill shelter. It took a lot of effort, but Animal Place found homes for the other 17 roosters and took two in, including Finnegan. He's now 4-yrs-old!
