Our guest speaker is Animal Place supporter Jessica Miller

Jessica Miller has never been afraid to be an individual.

She has spent more than 14 years at the top of the fashion world, modeling in high-profile campaigns for major designers and brands. She was the face of Calvin Klein for several seasons, worked with Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, and Tommy Hilfiger, and walked the runway for Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Givenchy, Fendi, and many more. After only a few years in the industry, she won the prestigious Model of the Year award. Today, Jessica continues to reinvent her aesthetic in top magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire, fashionista favorite Love magazine, and the upcoming 2018 DSquared campaign.

No stranger to the spotlight, Jessica has now started using her voice for another worldwide campaign: animal rights.

It was when she adopted her four kittens that Jessica went from catwalk to cat mom and her lifelong compassion for animals went to another level. She found herself going vegetarian and volunteering at a local cat shelter. But then, after further investigating what animals endure in the dairy and egg industries, she made the switch to vegan, recognizing that all animals deserve the same compassion and respect as her own four.

Jessica currently lives in the Bay Area with her husband, musician Lars Ulrich, three step-children, and the four cats who opened her eyes forever, Freya, Blue, Wanda, and Smurf.

Tickets must be purchased in advance.

When you register, you will also be provided a fundraising page. Your fundraising efforts will help build enrichment for our group of special needs turkeys – five turkeys who are housed separately due to health issues.
