While diet might be the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the term “vegan”, it can also apply to clothing, cosmetics, and more! Animal Place promotes ethical veganism. This means a person’s choices and lifestyle seeks to avoid cruelty and suffering at all practical costs.

Below is a list of companies that do not test on animals and offer vegan and animal-free cosmetics, household items, and clothing!

This list is a work in progress. Please let us know if there are any vegan brands we should add! (Last updated July 2020)

  1. Thank you for sharing this wonderful website! I will start eating vegetables and support your cause!

  2. Jacky Westoby says:

Ecover and Method products cannot be classed as vegan friendly, as they are owned by Johnson and Johnson, who animal test. Therefore, if you buy them, the profits are going to Johnson and Johnson, and supporting animal testing. This wasn’t always the case, but sadly, they sold out their principles and ethics.

    • Claire C says:

Hey Jacky, I completely understand your point, and support your choice and others’ to avoid those products. Of course, if available, completely vegan brands are the way to go. My intention in including those, was to include brands that are widely available. While the parent company is not vegan, those lines are vegan, and Ecover and Method products have not been tested on animals. We see this similarly to supporting a food brand that offers vegan options, but is not 100% vegan, or going to a restaurant that serves vegan options, but also serves non-vegan food.
