Animal Place is one of the oldest and largest sanctuaries for farmed animals in the country. Nestled on 600-acres in Grass Valley, CA, we provide permanent refuge to hundreds of neglected farmed animals. In addition to providing sanctuary, Animal Place operates our one-of-a-kind Rescue Ranch facility, a 60-acre adoption center that places thousands of needy farmed animals into permanent homes.
Put your compassion into action and join us for a Rescue Ranch internship! Your paid, residential internship will be a memorable experience spent working hard at our Rescue Ranch in Vacaville, CA.
Private, furnished housing is provided (including utilities, laundry, bedding, and household necessities), but food and transportation to/from Rescue Ranch are not. Rescue Ranch is a vegan facility and all staff, interns, and visitors are required to act accordingly while on the property.
