Did you know 95% of all hens used for egg production are confined in cages so small they cannot spread their wings? What if everyone who ate eggs could experience, for just a moment, what life is like for more than 300 million hens?
Our Brave the Cage campaign invites the public to empathize with the chickens who are regarded as mere commodities. Participants spend two minutes inside the cage, with up to four other people. They watch videos and photographs of how chickens are treated on all types of “egg” farms. After two minutes are up, they are invited to sign up for a series of emails that will help them transition to egg-free options!
