Volunteer for the day and meet Fish!

Animal Care Director, Hannah Beins, has some important summer projects that need a large group!
Join us on Sunday, August 27, 9am-2pm, for some painting, cleaning, and a meet and greet with our newest sheep resident, Fish. You’ll learn more about his amazing rescue from slaughter as an FFA project, and all about sheep care at the sanctuary from animal care staff.
All attendees must be 18+ years old.

Animal Place’s Main Sanctuary: 17314 McCourtney Rd, Grass Valley

What to bring

We’re doing a potluck lunch so please bring your favorite vegan dish to share!
(Please ensure that all ingredients are vegan: no meat, fish, dairy, eggs, honey, whey)

Refillable water bottle, sunscreen/hat, long pants, calf-high boots, work gloves (optional). We will provide dust masks, if needed.
Prepare to get dirty!
