The Animal Care Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of animal care staff and volunteers, as well as assisting in the cleaning, feeding, and medicating of the animal residents.
This position works in conjunction with the RVT under the supervision of the Animal Care Director, and alongside a team of dedicated caregivers, providing 24/7 care to the 200+ animals (pigs, chickens, cows, turkeys, sheep, goats, rabbits, donkeys) at the sanctuary in Grass Valley.
This is a full-time, live-in position. Housing is a part of the total compensation package, with all utilities covered.
Salary range: $20 – $22 per hour depending on experience.
