Animal Place’s MeatOut Event

Join us for a fun-filled day rooted in compassion. Experience delicious plant-based food and drinks from some of the most popular eateries and companies, participate in our raffle with amazing prizes, enjoy a live cooking demo by Chef Lisa while your kids play in our Kids’ Corner, speak with leaders from a variety of incredible animal and local organizations, and hang out with our adorable, rescued farmed animals!

What is MeatOut?

MeatOut Day is a plant-based holiday that aims to encourage people to question their consumption of animal products. It was started in 1985 by the Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM). March 20, the first day of spring, was selected as symbolic of renewal and turning over a new leaf.

• Ticket Details:
  • Tickets are $20 and include a plant-based buffet, animal visits within designated barns and pastures, access to the cooking demo and children’s play area, and a goody bag full of plant-based & cruelty-free products.
  • Children ages 2 and under are free.
