No, the dog isn’t one of the animals rescued, but she has bonded with Mishka, the little piglet on the left.
Mishka would be dead if not for one person.
The four animals were bought at auction and used as gimmicks for a pumpkin patch petting zoo.
What no one told the excited children and parents is the animals would be sent to slaughter the day after the pumpkin patch closed.
A volunteer refused to let that happen. If you doubt what one person can do, ask Mishka.
Mishka and his friends are at our Rescue Ranch facility, which has saved over 2,000 animals this year alone!
Mishka and his buddy will get healthy and head up to our Grass Valley facility in the coming months!
