
Shake it Up! (Cacao Almond Maca Protein Shake)
Ingredients
- ½ c raw almond butter
- ¾ c raw almond or hazelnut “milk”
- ¾ c young coconut water
- ½ c young Thai coconut “flesh”
- ¼ oz or 7 grams Cacao Butter
- 3 T raw cacao powder
- 1 T raw cacao nibs
- 3 T agave nectar
- ½ t pure vanilla powder or 1 t vanilla extract
- 1/8 t Himalayan salt
- ½ t raw maca powder
Instructions
- Blend all items together until smooth and creamy in a Vita-Mix. (NOTE: you can add more coconut water or nut “milk” if you prefer a thinner shake.
- Store in glass container in refrigerator for up to 3 days and shake well before serving. Yields 3 ½-4 cups.
