7/19/2025 – I am so sorry to share this sad news. Last night, Mona crashed. Multiple organ systems failed. She refused to get up or eat, and her neurological symptoms worsened. It was clear she was ready to go. The most likely culprit is cancer but we do not have confirmation on this. We brought
In February, Tilly made a daring leap, literally. She jumped off a truck headed for slaughter and landed on the side of a highway. Update (as of 5/27): Sunflower is home at the sanctuary! Her fever, diarrhea, and pneumonia have nearly resolved, and while she’s still healing from a minor jaw abscess, she’s now continuing recovery under our care.
