Who Lives Here
Dolly
Dolly and Studley (may he rest in peace) were rescued as “bummer” lambs. The initial rescuer could not care for them long-term and sought our assistance. We were able to take them in and provide them with lifelong care. Help Dolly and her fellow rescued sheep friends thrive at Animal Place! Your support ensures they…

Sassafras
Help us honor the memory of Sassafras, the spunky and chatty turkey who found sanctuary at Animal Place. Winston and Stewart
Support Winston & Stewart with a gift to the care of the pigs! A $20 donation fills up half a stall with straw bedding that the pigs love to burrow in. Or, consider a $50 gift and cover the pigs’ feed bill for a month!
Beethoven
Your donation goes toward Beethoven’s hay, straw bed, and maintenance of his swamp cooler…which he loves to hang out in front of during the summer.
Johnny
Join us in honoring Johnny, the leghorn hen who escaped the horrors of a battery cage egg farm. Your support ensures that Johnny and her feathered friends receive the love, care, and freedom they deserve. Together, we can make a difference and give them a life filled with joy and compassion. Donate today and be…

Why Farmed Animals?
We advocate for farmed animals because they are some of our planet's most abused and exploited individuals. These sentient beings experience grave suffering within our food system. We strive to create a more humane and just world for them by raising awareness and promoting change.
